Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking an Athletic Academic Advisor for the AthLife Program to guide student-athletes toward academic success and timely graduation. You will develop individualized plans and monitor progress, working with coaches, faculty, and university support services to support holistic development.

The role requires understanding NCAA regulations and strong communication skills. Expect 10 weeks per sport season, with multiple weekly meetings and plan development duties across Fall,

Qualifications

• Preferred coursework or work experience in Education, Counseling, Sports Management or athletic administration.
• Familiarity with NCAA academic eligibility rules and regulations.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse student-athletes, coaches, faculty and administrators.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with student information systems (PowerSchool) and advising software.
