POSITION SUMMARY: The Athletic Academic Advisor for the AthLife Program plays a critical role in guiding student-athletes toward academic success, timely graduation, and holistic personal development. The advisor will work closely with a diverse cohort of student-athletes, coaching staff, faculty, and university support services to create individualized academic plans, monitor progress, and provide proactive support. This position requires a deep understanding of NCAA regulations, academic policies, and the unique challenges faced by student-athletes.
10 weeks per sport season (Fall, Winter, Spring), 5-7 hours per week
4-5 hours per week: Direct student meetings (individual check-ins, small groups).
1-2 hours per week: Academic plan development, progress monitoring, communications with coaches/faculty, and reporting.
$5000 Stipend - $1667 per season (Fall, Winter, Spring)
