The Athletic Academic Advisor for the AthLife Program plays a critical role in guiding student‑athletes toward academic success, timely graduation, and holistic personal development. The advisor will work closely with a diverse cohort of student‑athletes, coaching staff, faculty, and university support services to create individualized academic plans, monitor progress, and provide proactive support. This position requires a deep understanding of NCAA regulations, academic policies, and the unique challenges faced by student‑athletes.
10 weeks per sport season (Fall, Winter, Spring), 7-10 hours per week
5–7 hours per week: Direct student meetings (individual check‑ins, small groups).
2–3 hours per week: Academic plan development, progress monitoring, communications with coaches/faculty, and reporting.
$7500 Stipend - $2500 per season (Fall, Winter, Spring)
Candidates must attach copies of a valid CPR/First Aid Card, Active Temporary Emergency or Five Year Renewable Coaching Permit, and Module 15 Concussions and Neck Injuries Course certificate to applications.
