The Student Assistant, Tyler Public Library Project Assistant, performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Technical Services Department at Tyler Public Library. Responsibilities include completing assigned projects, assisting with records and materials organization, and performing other duties that contribute to an efficient and organized workflow. The student must be willing and able to travel to and work at the off-campus Tyler Public Library location as needed.

If travel is required, the candidate must have and maintain a current, valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Students must be registered for undergraduate classes and maintain enrollment status to work in these positions. Students may qualify for Federal Work-Study, which is determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
Students are allowed to work a maximum of eighteen (18) hours per week and cannot work in multiple hourly positions. A work week is Monday-Sunday.
