Job summary

The California State University, Stanislaus is seeking a Student Assistant for Undergraduate Advising (FWS). This role provides front desk support and assists advising staff with events, workshops and outreach, while gaining exposure to university services.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates enrolled in at least six units with a current Financial Aid award. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering emails and calls, and coordinating appointments through Warrior Connect.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student must be enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for current semester/year.

Responsibilities

• Assist front desk coverage for Career Services and Undergraduate Advising, greeting students, faculty, staff and guests.
• Check main phone voicemail and forward messages; respond to emails and calls professionally and timely.
• Communicate with suite staff via email and Teams.
• Check students in for appointments.
• Develop proficiency in EAB/Warrior Connect to support students, staff, and faculty.
• Assist students with scheduling appointments through Warrior Connect.
• Familiarize with CSUE programs and policies to provide accurate information and referrals.
• Provide workshop and event support including setup, check-in, and attendee assistance.
