Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant in Stockton to support the Warrior Welcome Hub and CSUS operations. Duties include greeting students, staff, and visitors; assisting with classroom readiness; providing general administrative support; and helping with events while maintaining a welcoming campus environment.

The position runs from late September 2026 through late May 2027, with potential reappointment based on budget and performance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six fall/spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be enrolled in a minimum of four fall/spring units.
• Demonstrated customer service experience and a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills including Windows/macOS and MS Office/365.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet visitors at the front counter.
• Monitor hallways and report concerns to university officials or security.
• Assist with classroom and event readiness and space setup.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support for classes and events.
• Promote a safe, welcoming campus environment.
• Support outreach and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
