Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a Student Assistant for Undergraduate Advising (FWS). The position supports front desk coverage for Career Services and Undergraduate Advising, greets students and guests, and assists with scheduling and event preparation.

The role requires enrollment in at least six units and active financial aid for the current term, with potential for future reappointment based on budget and performance. Work is on-site in Stanislaus - Turlock, with some campus event involvement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk coverage for Career Services and Undergraduate Advising, greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and guests.
• Check the main phone line voicemail and forward messages; respond to emails and calls professionally and promptly.
• Communicate with suite staff via email and Teams.
• Check students in for appointments and support scheduling through Warrior Connect.
• Develop proficiency in EAB/Warrior Connect to support students, staff and faculty.
• Assist with preparing materials for workshops, advising events, orientations, and outreach activities.
• Provide workshop and event support, including setup, check-in, and participant assistance.
