Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant for the department of Communications and Public Affairs at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Support social media and promotion efforts for the communications and public affairs department of RWJMS.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Participate in concept and creative discussions for extensive social media campaigns and monthly planning

  • Copywriting, designing in Canva, scheduling posts in Metricool for social media, flyers, videos and slideshows that may appear on social media or in Weekly View.

  • Take pictures at events and video for reels.

  • Complete monthly editorial calendars.

  • Track campaign metrics and enter them into excel spreadsheets and powerpoint slides.

  • Assist with photo asset organization in the Getty DAM system as directed.

  • Assist with organization of SWAG items and requests as needed.
