Job summary

Harper College in Palatine is seeking a part-time student worker to provide high‑quality customer service. You will greet visitors, answer calls, and share accurate information.

You will schedule and maintain appointments in scheduling software to enable 24/7 access to advising and orientation in the student portal, and deliver orientation presentations. The role requires current Harper College student status (enrolled in at least six credits per semester) and confidentiality; hours are Mon–Thu

Delivers individual and group orientation presentations.

Guides students on campus tours and My Harper portal tours.

Assists with call campaigns.

Education Requirements: To apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).

Experience RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the department.

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on the student’s availability Must have some availability to work during the following hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00-7:00 pm, Friday: 8:00-4:30 pm.

Total Hours: 20 per week.
