ATS Institute of Technology is seeking an experienced Student Accounts & Collections Specialist to manage student account balances, resolve past-due accounts, and work directly with students to develop practical payment solutions.

You will oversee payment plans, process payments, and collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Services to support enrollment while ensuring accurate records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with focus on business/finance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills essential.
• Experience with accounting software and CRMs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage past-due student accounts through consistent outreach.
• Establish and follow payment plans; follow up on missed payments.
• Monitor balances, process payments, resolve discrepancies.
• Assist students with tuition questions and billing concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activity and communications.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Services.
• Support account reporting and ensure policy compliance.
