Job summary

ATS Institute of Technology seeks a Student Accounts & Collections Specialist to manage student balances, resolve past-due accounts, and work directly with students to create practical payment solutions.

This role targets collections or AR professionals who can navigate difficult conversations, negotiate arrangements, and maintain professional, student-focused service. Salary range $55,000–$60,000, with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree not required; Associate’s is acceptable.
• 2+ years in collections or student accounts preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage student account balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Establish and monitor payment arrangements with students.
• Process payments and resolve account discrepancies.
• Assist students with tuition, billing, and account questions.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and communications.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions and Student Services.
• Support reporting and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
