Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of practical experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• PE certification is required.
• Master's degree is preferred with 12 years of experience and 4 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the department's operating budget and forecasts.
• Manages department staff, priorities, and project assignments; mentors and trains staff.
• Supports strategic planning and SSA and SDA processes on projects.
• Oversees contracting activities including scope, work plans and fees.
• Leads multiple teams and supervises 15–20+ employees.
• Supports marketing efforts and client discovery, proposals and interviews.
• Maintains client contacts to ensure satisfaction and grow department business.
• Recruits, hires, and retains department staff; manages performance and succession.
