Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior engineer in Massachusetts to develop design calculations, reports, plans and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, mentor junior staff, and help ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Ideal candidates hold an Engineering degree (B.S., M.S., or PhD) with substantial experience in bridges, tunnels, and cross-discipline work across New England. Boston/Chelmsford locations and a full-time role are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
