Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead bridge and tunnel projects in the New England region. You will perform design calculations, develop plans, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and project managers to ensure on-time project delivery and adherence to budget.

Required: 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or 7+ years with a Master’s, or 6+ years with a PhD; PE licensure in MA and RI preferred; strong analytical and leadership abilities for

Responsibilities

Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.

Mentors and provides technical guidance to team members to achieve project objectives.
Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client counterpart and teaming partners.
Assists with scope development, schedule planning, and budget adherence for complex projects.
