Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Structured Cabling Logistics Installer to support Cabling Technicians on hyperscale data center projects. You will handle materials, assist with installation, and help prepare work areas and tools.

Responsibilities include fiber and copper cabling installation support, material handling, operating light equipment, and maintaining organized job sites. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience preferred.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to work with tools and equipment including vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders and power buggies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of structured cabling, including fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Support low voltage tasks such as cable pulling, routing, labeling and basic terminations.
• Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Safely use hand and power tools after training; operate drills, crimpers and cutters.
• Lift, position and fasten objects as required for installation support.
• Prepare, handle, stage and supply materials for electrical and cabling trades.
• Coordinate material deliveries and maintain organized storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and work under supervision.
• Support general labor duties to maintain project flow.
