Job summary

Mortenson is hiring an Installer to support Cabling Technicians on hyperscale data center projects. The role involves material handling, assembly and dismantling of low voltage systems, site preparation, and workspace cleaning.

Responsibilities include measuring and preparing materials, using hand and power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed, and maintaining safety and efficiency on site. A current driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, instructions, blueprints and schematics; work with hand and power tools.
• Able to handle materials up to 200 lbs; follow instructions and work in a team.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit with hand tools.
• Safely use hand and power tools after training.
• Lift, position, and fasten objects.
• Prepare and supply materials and tools for electrical trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools.
• Work under supervision following procedures and instructions.
• Build relationships across diverse groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
