Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Installer to safely assist Cabling Technicians on hyperscale data center projects. You will help with material handling, installation, and assembly of low voltage carrier systems, while preparing work areas and ensuring clean spaces.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, bending wire, and supplying tools to the electrical trades. The role requires reading instructions, following safety rules, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and drawings.
• Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear.
• Strong teamwork and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Safely use drills, crimpers, cutters, and other tools after training.
• Lift, position, and fasten objects.
• Prepare and supply materials and tools to electrical trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Work under supervision per procedures and guidelines.
• Build positive relationships across diverse teams.
