Job summary

IES Communications in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to supervise field installation crews and serve as on-site coordinator. You will ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to customer standards while providing technical guidance and maintaining project documentation.

This role also acts as the primary customer contact, coordinating with Project Manager and reporting progress and issues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field installation crews on structured cabling projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and quality control on-site.
• Ability to coordinate with Project Manager and customers and maintain documentation.
• Proven ability to train and coach team members.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation crews on structured cabling projects.
• Provide training, coaching and technical guidance to team members.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager and Project Lead.
• Complete project documentation, timesheets, and change orders accurately.
• Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot field issues.
• Maintain positive customer relations and attend meetings.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company policies.
