Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead for structured cabling projects in the United States. You will supervise field installation crews, provide technical guidance, and serve as the primary on-site contact with customers.

The role requires coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining project documentation to meet quality standards. You will oversee moves, adds, changes, and voice/data cross-connect activities, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule and

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
Proficient with a computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
Ability to define a project, create a scope of work, estimate, and manage tasks through completion.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage installation crews on structured cabling projects.
Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to team members.
Monitor employee performance and communicate concerns to the Project Manager.
Conduct and document weekly safety meetings.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards.
Coordinate daily activities with Project Manager and Project Lead.
Monitor productivity and project progress to stay on time and within budget.
Plan work assignments and resource allocation.
