Job summary

HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division is seeking skilled welders to join the X18 Welders team in Newport News, VA. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on welding experience and the ability to work in a rigorous shipbuilding environment.

Welders will train at the shipyard Welding School and perform structural and pipe welds using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW across various positions, with safety and quality standards strictly enforced. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.
