WSP USA is seeking a Certified Structural Steel Welding Inspector (AWS CWI) and Coatings Inspector (AMPP / NACE / SSPC Level II) to join our field team. The role covers Utah, New Mexico or Arizona with travel across the US and occasionally Canada, supporting QA on structural steel and coatings projects.

The ideal candidate will hold CWI and AMPP/NACE Level II certifications, have 9+ years of inspection experience, and be able to work independently in demanding environments.

Competenze

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education experience in the discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
• NACE / AMPP or SSPC Coatings Certification Level II.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver License.

Mansioni

• In a quality assurance (QA) role.
• Structural steel fabrication activities in the shop and the field including dimensional checks, welding inspection, NDT, coatings, and material test reports to contract drawings and documents.
• Monitoring and measuring: surface preparation, surface cleanliness, environmental conditions, paint kit mixing, and applications for compliance with approved contract documents, standards, and specifications.
• Communication and interaction with owners, fabricators, engineers, NDT technicians, and other coating professionals.
• Writing daily shop / field reports in digital format.
• Participate in WSP safety meetings.
