Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Certified Structural Steel Welding Inspector (AWS CWI) and Coatings Inspector (AMPP/NACE/SSPC Level II) to join our field team in the US, with assignments in New Mexico, Utah or Arizona.

The role requires travel to various locations in the US and Canada and involves rigorous physical activity. The position supports shop and field inspections, welding, NDT, coatings, and QA documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 9 years of post-education experience in construction inspection.
NACE / AMPP or SSPC Coatings Certification Level II.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification.

Responsibilities

In a QA role, perform structural steel fabrication inspections in shop and field.
Conduct welding inspection, NDT, coatings, and review material test reports.
Monitor surface prep, cleanliness, environmental conditions, and coating applications.
Communicate with owners, fabricators, engineers, and coating professionals.
Write daily shop/field reports in digital format and participate in safety meetings.
