Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn to read specifications or blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Assist with fabricating metal parts according to blueprints.
• Assist with unloading and positioning prefabricated steel units using cranes.
• Verify alignment of structural steel members with plumb bobs or laser tools.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces using suitable equipment.
• Assemble hoisting equipment to move heavy equipment.
