Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Renewables team. The role focuses on structural design of foundations and retaining walls for utility-scale wind, battery storage, and solar facilities, including reporting and plans preparation.

Candidate should have a civil/structural engineering degree, PE license, and at least 3 years of related experience with ASCE loadings. Proficiency in MS Office and software like RISA is desirable; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required; SE registration a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Familiar with ASCE loading calculations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the structural design of foundations and retaining walls for utility-scale wind, battery storage and solar facilities.
• Prepares or directs the structural design reports, specifications, and plans.
• Assist Project Managers in the drafting and design of utility-scale solar projects.
• Day-to-day support and input to Project Managers.
