Qualifications

• 2–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with commercial, multifamily, residential, or other building structures.
• Wood-framing experience strongly preferred.
• A sound understanding of gravity and lateral structural systems.
• The ability to communicate clearly through calls, meetings, and email.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Someone who enjoys engineering but also wants to understand how projects are constructed.
• The initiative to take responsibility rather than escalation every decision.

Responsibilities

• Designing structural systems for multifamily and commercial buildings.
• Working extensively with wood-framed construction.
• Developing practical structural solutions that support the architectural vision.
• Coordinating directly with architects, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Preparing calculations, drawings, and construction documentation.
• Responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and resolving field issues.
• Managing projects and priorities in a busy delivery environment.
• Taking increasing ownership of projects as you demonstrate readiness.
