Job summary

LVI Associates in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Structural Engineering Leader to steer high‑impact building projects. This client‑facing role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and team mentorship, with opportunities to shape client relationships and growth strategy.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee proposals and fee estimates, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to win new work while maintaining design excellence and schedule discipline.

Qualifications

10+ years of structural engineering experience with leadership experience.
Master's degree in Structural, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
PE and/or SE license; strong project and client leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead structural and multidisciplinary projects with high-quality delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Build and manage strong relationships with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
Prepare proposals, scopes, and fee estimates while identifying opportunities for new and repeat business.
Provide technical leadership, quality reviews, and mentorship to the engineering team.
Support growth strategy, market presence, and business development efforts.
Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
