Imagine driving through Houston and regularly passing buildings you helped bring to life.
A growing structural engineering firm is hiring an engineer to work on multifamily and commercial developments across Houston and nationally. Its projects create new homes, contribute to growing neighborhoods, and give engineers the satisfaction of seeing their work become part of the communities around them.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than complete calculations in isolation. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and internal project teams, helping turn ambitious architectural concepts into practical, efficient, and buildable structures.
The firm has a strong pipeline and a high volume of active projects, but it is not hiring based on years of experience alone. Quality matters more than tenure. An excellent engineer with two years of experience will be given more opportunity than an average engineer with ten.
As your capability grows, so will your level of ownership.
Direct multifamily experience would be valuable, but the firm is also open to strong engineers from adjacent building and construction environments who have the fundamentals, communication skills, and motivation to learn.
This role will suit someone who wants their work to be both technically meaningful and physically visible. You will be expected to engineer, communicate, coordinate, and take ownership, but you will also have the support and training to continue developing.
