Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group seeks a Structural Project Engineer to work independently on small projects and collaborate on larger ones under a Senior Structural Engineer. You will evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems to meet project goals with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires a PE license (preferred) and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Proficiency in Revit and standard structural software is expected, with strong coordination across teams and clear client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; PE license is preferred.
• Professional Engineering license is required; Structural PE preferred.
• Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit) and structural analysis tools.
• Experience with CSI, RISA, RAM or similar structural software.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects.
• Develop job specifications independently for less complex projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including field reports, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Use company and manufacturer software for design calculations.
