Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work independently on small and medium projects and lead teams on larger ones. You will evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure design to budget and schedule.

Experience with Revit and CSI/RISA RAM is preferred, and a PE license is required. The role is based in Boise, ID, with a strong focus on client service and design excellence across projects within a collaborative, sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering and Structural Engineering licenses are required.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit).
• Experience with CSI, RISA, RAM or similar structural software.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small and medium projects.
• Lead junior engineers on complex projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties (RFIs, submittals, change orders).
• Use standard and proprietary software for calculations.
• Communicate design issues with the design team and owners.
