Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to work independently on smaller projects and lead larger ones. You will evaluate, select, and specify structural systems, coordinate with architects and other engineers, and perform construction administration tasks.

The role calls for a strong background in structural design codes, seismic design, and project leadership. A PE license is required and Autodesk Revit experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of related experience.
• PE license required; Structural PE preferred.
• Experience with modeling software and standard structural tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small and medium projects.
• Lead junior engineers in complex projects and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Communicate design issues clearly to the design team and owners.
• Develop design standards and ensure projects stay on time and budget.
