Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader hiring a Territory Manager for our MitraClip division. The role is field-based and focused on meeting or exceeding sales objectives within assigned territory by coordinating with clinical consultants and negotiating contracts with external customers.

You will work with regional directors to identify opportunities, develop plans, and build strong relationships with hospital personnel to promote Abbott products and improve patient care. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or HF device sales.
• Eligibility for vendor credentialing and COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule calls with hospitals and physicians to meet revenue targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for key accounts and pricing needs.
• Create action plans from quarterly and monthly sales data with regional input.
• Identify key accounts and decision makers in hospital settings.
• Observe procedures to understand product needs in real-world settings.
• Collaborate with Abbott personnel to set price points for customer needs.
• Build relationships with hospital staff to expand product adoption.
• Support customers through training, launches, and updates.
