Job summary

Abbott is seeking a sales professional for the Structural Heart division (Surgical Valves) in the United States. You will collaborate with senior sales leaders to drive growth, negotiate contracts, and expand opportunities within assigned accounts, while maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and staying ahead of market dynamics.

The role requires 5+ years in medical device sales, experience in interventional cardiology, and travel of 50% or more.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related sales experience in medical device industry (cardiovascular or structural heart).
• Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery; familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging.
• Travel requirements: 50%+.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Abbott Structural Heart through a proactive partnership with Regional Sales Director and Senior Territory Manager to develop growth strategies and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate customer contracts and elevate market growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and keep leaders informed of market dynamics and competition.
• Develop action plans by analyzing sales figures and market data to help achieve sales targets.
