Job summary

Abbott in Memphis seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for the Stroke Prevention portfolio, including Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder. You will train interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff on device use and support procedures.

This role travels up to 50% and requires a BS/BA and 6+ years of cardiovascular experience, plus ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19 if needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience is required.
• 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19; please advise HR for accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for Abbott products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of Abbott products; inform on latest product, therapy and technology developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
• Maintain strong clinical orientation to influence various clinician personality types.
