Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Clinical Specialist to support the Stroke Prevention portfolio (Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder). You will educate interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on device usage and provide technical support during procedures.

The role involves communicating product and market data to clinical teams, helping to develop product marketing strategies within a defined region, and traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or EP.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 may be required per vendor credentialing.
• Degree in life sciences or medical training preferred (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.).
• Experience with interventional cardiology products and echo imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate clinicians and cath lab staff on Structural Heart products and usage.
• Provide clinical and sales support and education to current and potential customers.
• Cover procedures and offer technical support during interventions.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers for case coverage and outcomes.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
