Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support Stroke Prevention products (Amplatzer, Amulet, LAA Occluder) in the Wilmington, DE region. You will educate interventional cardiologists and cathLab staff, provide technical support during procedures, and communicate clinical and market data to drive product adoption.

The role requires a clinical orientation, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel; BS/BA and 9+ years cardiovascular experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience.
• 3+ years in Structural Heart or Electrophysiology clinical experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination; please advise HR for accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide clinical coverage and outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of latest developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with clinicians to identify clinical needs and provide creative, feasible solutions.
• Role may travel in excess of 50%.
