Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist focused on Stroke Prevention products such as Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder. You will train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff and ancillary personnel on device use and provide hands-on support during procedures.

The role requires strong clinical orientation, the ability to educate clinicians on device merits and to translate clinical and market data into actionable marketing strategies. Travel may exceed 50% depending on region.

Qualifications

• Clinical orientation and ability to educate clinicians and staff.
• Experience supporting interventional cardiology/structural heart procedures is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and meet vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers for case coverage and outcomes.
• Provide clinical support during procedures and education to staff.
• Educate customers on product usage and clinical data developments in the field.
• Engage in clinical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with health care providers to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Influence clinicians with strong clinical orientation to adopt best practices.
