Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support the Stroke Prevention portfolio by educating interventional cardiology teams and providing procedural coverage across a defined region.

The role involves training cath lab staff on Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder devices, offering clinical and technical support during procedures, and collaborating with Territory Managers to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements including vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers.
• Train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products.
• Provide technical support to physicians during procedures.
• Communicate product, clinical and market data to relevant stakeholders to support marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure clinical case coverage and outcomes.
• Travel up to 50% to meet clinicians and customers.
