Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for the Stroke Prevention offering, focusing on the Amplatzer Amulet LAA Occluder. The role involves training interventional cardiologists and lab staff, with travel up to 50%.

You will collaborate with Territory Managers, serve as a primary clinical resource, and communicate product and market data to support marketing and customer education efforts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
• Verification you will satisfy vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19; accommodations discussed with HR if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform about latest product, therapy and technology developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
• Demonstrate strong clinical orientation and the ability to influence clinicians.
