Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Structural Engineering Manager in Duluth, MN to lead design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems for buildings, bridges, marine structures and infrastructure. You will guide projects from concept through construction, coordinating across disciplines.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural ABET‑accredited degree, 8+ years of design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 8+ years related experience in design of structural systems (concrete, masonry, steel, wood, etc.).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or other CAD software for drafting.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects per codes.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers and architects.
• Prepare documents, calculations, and specifications for structural systems within schedule and budget.
• Perform construction site visits and field observations.
• Collect field data and prepare field reports.
