Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in Duluth, MN. You will lead complex projects, provide engineering leadership, and mentor junior staff, while applying codes such as ASCE 7 and AISC 360 in design tasks.

The role requires a Civil/Structural ABET-accredited degree and 5+ years of experience; PE is preferred and EIT is required. Strong CAD/design software proficiency is expected, with field and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years’ experience as a structural engineer.
• PE preferred, EIT required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards.
• Provide leadership to junior engineers while executing tasks.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and manage schedules/budgets.
