Job summary

Arcadis in Buffalo, NY seeks a Project Structural Engineer to advance the structural design of critical public infrastructure including water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and rehabilitation projects.

You will develop calculations, drawings, and specifications for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry systems, collaborating with civil, mechanical, and process teams to deliver integrated solutions and construct documents.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Experience with structural analysis of RC, steel, and masonry.
• Experience in water/wastewater/public infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for water/wastewater infrastructure, creating calculations, drawings, and specs for concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Own defined design packages, manage scope and deliverables with independent technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process teams to deliver integrated designs and prepare construction documents.
• Support construction through submittals, RFIs, and site observations, working with contractors to resolve issues.
• Participate in team and client coordination and contribute technical inputs for proposals and pursuits.
• Contribute to community-focused infrastructure projects and evolve toward senior/leadership roles.
