Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Houston. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of structural solutions for water infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, stormwater, and coastal stabilization.

You will work with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable designs. Required: Civil/Structural engineering degree and 5 years of design experience in water/wastewater

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably in water/wastewater projects.
Experience with STAAD Pro; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong understanding of IBC and ACI guidelines.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions and regulations.
Perform structural analyses to support feasibility and detailed design.
Prepare technical deliverables: calculations, drawings, specs, and contract docs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, constructible solutions.
Support project delivery with budget tracking, scheduling, and milestones.
