Job summary

Arcadis is shaping the future of water infrastructure, seeking a Structural Engineer to design and deliver structural solutions across water and wastewater projects. You will collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to balance technical excellence, sustainability, and constructability.

This role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 5 years of experience, proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (or closely related field).
• 5 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably supporting water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred; EIT/PE licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate structural design concepts based on site conditions, project objectives, regulations, and constructability.
• Perform structural analyses to support feasibility studies, planning, and detailed design.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
• Support project delivery with budget tracking, scheduling, and milestones coordination.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

EIT certification or PE license
