Metromont LLC is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the cost-efficient design of precast concrete systems, connections, and components. You will review and approve drawings, coordinate with drafters and coordinators, and facilitate successful project completions.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering with PE certification and 3–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with precast knowledge. Office-based with plant exposure, typical M-F hours, and opportunities for advancement.

Formación

• BS Civil Engineering required; structural emphasis preferred.
• PE Certification required.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Precast knowledge preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work individually or in a team.
• Comfort with coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering calculations and details for all products and connections.
• Independently manage design aspects of projects with minimal guidance.
• Review project documents and requirements to align with standards.
• Attend project meetings and lead coordination when needed.
• Write and review RFIs; resolve design issues independently.
• Review erection drawings and shop tickets for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Maintain awareness of production processes through plant visits.
• Aim to become licensed in states where work is performed and stamp drawings when assigned.
