Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Structural Engineer for the Sentinel program, located in Manhattan Beach, CA or Roy, Utah. The role involves design/analysis of facilities and subsystems to support Minuteman III missile upgrades.

The position requires a STEM degree with relevant experience and an active DoD Secret Clearance. Relocation assistance may be available and a 9/80 work schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in STEM with related experience; US citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be a US citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance (investigation within last 5 years).
• Experience performing dynamic and/or static structural analysis.
• Experience using ABAQUS, ANSYS, FEMAP (w/Nastran) or MATLAB for analysis and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structural components and perform design/analysis for the Sentinel program facilities and subsystems.
• Apply structural engineering principles to dynamic and static analyses and develop modeling inputs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of experience

Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of experience
