Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Structural Engineer to support the Sentinel program, located in Manhattan Beach, CA or Roy, UT. Role involves design/analysis of facilities and subsystems for missile infrastructure upgrades and flight-test facilities.

Qualifications include a US citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance, engineering degree(s), and extensive structural dynamics experience. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (investigation within 6 years) and US Citizenship.
• Principal Engineer: 5 years with Bachelors; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD.
• Sr. Principal Engineer: 8 years with Bachelors; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design/analysis of facilities and subsystems for Minuteman III upgrades and flight-test facilities.
• Analyze and develop structural engineering specs for structures, mechanicals, hydraulics, electronics, and power plant components.
• Utilize tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer for modeling and analysis.
