Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Structural Analysis Group in Sunnyvale, CA seeks Structural Engineers Level 2/3 to develop FE models and perform a range of analyses using industry-standard tools. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with on-site work 4 days per week.

Primary responsibilities include preparing component and system-level analyses, working with NX/Hypermesh/Nastran/Abaqus, and supporting defense projects with rigorous engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 2 years of experience; or Masters with no experience (Level 2).
• 5 years of experience (Level 3) or 3 years for MS.
• US citizenship required and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience in structural analysis and classical/analysis software.
• On-site work required (minimum 4 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Develop finite element models at component and system levels using Hypermesh.
• Perform linear static, transient, vibration, modal, and frequency analyses using Nastran and Abaqus.
