Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Structural Engineers Level 3 or 4 to join our Ocean Springs, MS team. The role focuses on developing FE models and performing linear and non-linear analyses to support defense systems.

Ideal candidates have experience in structural analysis, strong communication skills, and proficiency with NX, Hypermesh, Nastran, Abaqus, and Matlab. On-site work four days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Education options include B.S./M.S./PhD in STEM with relevant experience.
• Experience in structural analysis role is required.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop finite element models at component and system levels using Hypermesh.
• Perform linear and non-linear analyses with Nastran and Abaqus; post-process results in Matlab/Excel.
