Job summary

Northrop Grumman Marine Systems seeks Structural Engineers Level 3 or 4 to develop component and system FE models using Hypermesh and post-process results with Hyperview, Matlab and Excel. You will perform linear FE static, transient, vibration, modal and frequency analyses with Nastran and Abaqus.

This role requires on-site work in Ocean Spring, MS and US citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 5+ years experience or MS with 3+ years; PhD with 0 years for Level 3.
• Experience in structural analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
• On-site work at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop component and system level finite element models using Hypermesh.
• Post process results with Hyperview, Matlab and Excel.
• Perform linear static, transient, vibration, modal and direct frequency response analyses using Nastran and Abaqus.
