A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) in Charleston, SC is seeking a Structural Technical Intern (STEM) for the 2027 internship period. This paid, full-time internship runs May through August 2027 (flexible) and may lead to a Full-Time Junior Engineer role after graduation.

You'll work under the supervision of project managers and team leaders, supporting tasks such as reports, plans, and specifications, data entry, and field assignments while gaining mentorship from experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor or Associates Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.
